Travis A. Knight has spent two decades working as an actor in theatre, television, and film. A proud member of Chicago's theatre community since 2012, he joined A Red Orchid Theatre's artistic ensemble in 2019 and became associate artistic director in 2020. His work has taken him from intimate storefront spaces to large LORT stages throughout the Midwest, always drawn to projects that challenge, inspire, and demand rigorous honesty.

In addition to acting, Travis has worked as a director and producer in theatre, helping shape new plays and reimagine existing work. His passion for storytelling extends beyond the stage. He also works as a motion capture performer for video games, using movement and physical performance to craft dynamic, immersive worlds in titles like Mortal Kombat 1 and the Call of Duty franchise.

Travis is now expanding his creative pursuits into photography, videography, and creative direction. His recent deep dive into visual storytelling and Adobe Creative Cloud isn’t a departure from his acting career but a natural extension of his artistic instincts. Another way to engage with the world, capture moments, and collaborate with other artists.
